Fr. Joe, Thank you so much for everything. You were the best! There were 18 inches of snow on the ground and you and your wife still made it to our ceremony! You did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend you to anyone. You gave us exactly what we wanted and had great ideas on how to include our son.

I would like to say it was wonderful having Fr. Joe McLaughlin as the minister to perform our daughter's wedding. He made the day so wonderful for all of us and also the time to prepare for this wonderful occasion. Not only is he a wonderful minister, but he and his wife are wonderful people who helped us with everything, from preparation to final vows. I would highly recommend him for your special day. My daughter got married in a major blizzard outside Dutch Wonderland on 12/19/09 and he was there way ahead of time as planned, with his wife who also helped us with the preparations, music, etc... They are a great couple to work with.

From the start when we asked Joe to officiate our wedding he became involved. He helped us decide on the location in our venue for the nuptials and even helped us with our vows. We couldn't have been more pleased with our wedding ceremony. Joe kept everything moving smoothly and made everyone feel calm and comfortable. Upon our first meeting with you, we felt instantly comfortable. I was raised Roman Catholic and my husband, Russian Orthodox. We did not belong to a parish and quite frankly did not really feel that either of those religions were ones that we could stand behind. But still being Christian, we still wanted religion to be a part of our ceremony. You were just what we were looking for, not only as a wedding officiant, but as someone that we could be friends with. It just made more sense to us to look to a couple in a happy marriage for marriage advice. A quick meeting for coffee turned into hours of conversation and could have gone longer. We really felt a connection and couldn't stop raving about you on our ride home and the day leading up to our wedding. And, then it got better. After speaking to Christina via email (I knew instantly that I liked her for two reasons: First that her husband couldn't stop raving about her and secondly because anyone named Christina has to be fabulous!) We spoke via email often up until the day of our wedding in regards to readings that we liked, ideas for including all of the things that we wanted, etc) And upon meeting I was right, we instantly liked each other. We did not get to spend as much time as I would have liked (wedding days are crazy and go by so fast!) but I know that my grandmother absolutely adored you both too. Thank you so much for making our wedding day such a wonderful and memorable experience!

There was one major thing I was stressing out about during the wedding planning process – not being able to find a minister. I contacted churches, searched online, and everyone I found was either booked, out of town, or wanted to charge me upwards of $900. That is until www.rentapriest.com and Fr. Joe came along.
